Since it is bright and shining outside, we thought there was no better time to bring our Heritage Blue Bird Tea set to enjoy some sweets and tea outside. Twig New York has worked hard with the talented ceramist/artist Molly Hatch to expand her beautiful Heritage collection beyond just plates and mugs – to a complete (Dinnerware and) Tea Set! These beautiful illustrations of blue birds by Molly Hatch will bring traditional, yet contemporary ambience to your ordinary afternoon tea time with family and friends. The uniqueness of Heritage Blue Bird Collection comes from Molly’s attention to small details. The illustration at the bottom of the mug gives a little entertainment every time you drink out of it and spark a conversation for an enjoyable time.
Time flies, and we are now almost half way through this year! It seems like it was only yesterday that we flew to Frankfurt to exhibit our products at the Ambiente, one of the largest international trade fairs for the consumer goods industry. As we begin preparing for NY NOW Summer 2015, we wanted to walk you through our amazing experience in Frankfurt. Ambiente 2015 was Twig New York's first global launch. It was truly an amazing experience in which we heard a lot of essential feedbacks from the experts and were able to study and stay up to date with global consumer trends. We also met a lot of buyers and distributors from all over the world and were delighted to introduce our beautiful products to them.
The Heritage Collection is our collaboration with the artist, Molly Hatch. She was inspired from the look of the historic teacups in 18th century European factories. The designs on the back of the plates and mugs make the heritage classic not only a functional lifestyle companion but also a good decoration for your kitchen. This is the Petals collection, our collaboration with the lifestylist Brittany Jepsen. The petals look beautiful not only as separate, individual pieces, but also as a whole. Twig New York will be back in Frankfurt next year to participate in Ambiente 2016, which takes place from February 12 to 16! In the meantime, we will be at NY NOW 2015 to showcase our latest products (and many more trade shows in the States!) :)
Since Spring is finally here, we decided to do some flower arranging. Everyone else seems to have left for Spring break and here we are... trying to enjoy a glimpse of Spring in our own office (YAY)! We got different shades of fresh peonies, eucalyptuses, roses, ranunculuses, tulips, and carnations and used mugs and jugs from our famous Cutlery & Language of Flowers collection as flower vases. The delicately hand-painted 24K gold handles help to bring out the vibrant colors of the flowers. Flowers, flowers everywhere! For this shot (below), we used our beautifully decaled Language of Flowers collections as the vases. You don't need fancy vases to feel special at home. Pick some flowers up from your local deli, chop the stems off, and plug them in any mug you have. Why don't we decorate our tabletops with some flowers tonight?
Looking back on the photos we took last year in preparation for this year's NYNOW Trade Show, it is as though the excitement we felt is coming straight back at us. It was our first time to introduce our products to the world, to finally meet with customers for the first time. We were happy to have taken part in last year's show because we had the opportunity to meet with so many great buyers from all over the world that showed many interests in our products. We can't wait to introduce the newest additions to our in-house designed Charlotte and Layla collection, as well as our popular Heritage and Cutlery collection, that will debut in this year's August Show. We hope to see you there! :)
