Inspired by the surface patterns and shapes found in traditional blue and white ceramics, the artist Molly has developed her newest collection titled Well Versed in a collaboration with Twig New York. The collection is designed to reflect its historic counterparts and exist as witty and conversational tableware for everyday and special occasions. Also Inspired by historic counterparts, these vases act as trompe l’oeil representations—drawings that are vases and vases that are drawings. The unexpected stripe patterns are decorated on other two surfaces of the vase, and this twist makes the vase even more special and versatile in many different settings.
